We believe tree work should feel calm and predictable. From the first call, we set timelines, explain options, and show up with the right gear so the day runs smoothly.

Safety is engineered, not assumed. Site walk-throughs define hazards; mats and cones define zones; radios keep climbers and ground techs synchronized. Every rigging choice is deliberate to protect fences, decks, and glass.

Pruning is strategic: remove deadwood to improve airflow, sunlight, and balance. We elevate where needed for vehicle clearance and shape crowns so they look curated, not thinned at random.|Weight reduction over roofs and play spaces cuts storm risk. We reduce sail effect, relieve overloaded unions, and protect gutters, screens, and siding from rubbing branches.|Privacy can stay while light improves. By thinning selectively, we preserve screening while cooling patios with better breeze.}

When removal is the safest path, we choreograph it. Sectional rigging lowers pieces in tight Homer City, PA yards; cranes assist when access or height demands. Spotters, ropes, and pads shield pools, AC units, and planters.

Soil and root care underpin healthy canopies. We guide mulch depth, water cycles, and aeration to reduce stress. Deep root feeding can revive tired trees, while pest monitoring catches issues early.

Our crews know the standard: protect the property, work with intention, and leave the space cleaner than we found it.

Choosing TotalTreeService in Homer City, PA means you get local expertise, disciplined execution, and a courteous team. We are ready to prune, remove, brace, or grindwhatever your canopy needs to stay safe, healthy, and beautiful.

The two treaties of Fort Stanwix (of 1768 and, after American independence, of 1784) secured the westward expansion of Pennsylvania into the region where the Borough of Homer City is now located, on land inhabited by the six Indian nations. With white settlement these new territories were initially organized as part of existing counties in eastern and central Pennsylvania. White settlers were few in the eighteenth century and encountering Indians still very much a part of daily life. Any degree of stability and safety came only after the Battle of Fallen Timbers (1794). Indiana County was carved out of Westmoreland and Lycoming counties in 1803 and divided into three townships: Wheatfield, Armstrong, and Mahoning. The confluence of Two Lick and Yellow creeks (present-day Homer City) was a contender for the seat of government for the new county, but instead the "extraordinary overtures" of George Clymer, a local landowners and a signer of the Declaration of Independence, saw the county seat situated instead in what would become the Borough of Indiana. Center Township - the unincorporated area surrounding present-day Homer City - was created from a portion of Armstrong Township in 1807, its landscape dotted with larger and smaller family homesteads (farms) and an increasing number of mills and trading posts.
